Before establishing CustomerLAB in 1994, Jim Danahy spent 16 years as a general manager and operational executive with several Fortune 100 and TSX 300 companies serving both public and private sectors. He has consistently boosted service levels and productivity for clients in many life science and health care categories including medical devices, pharmaceuticals, home care, retail pharmacy, physician’s house call services, lactation products, geriatrics and funeral service. Jim led the creation of AdherenceLAB, a customized pharmaceutical compliance service designed for clinical trials and improvement of prescription renewal rates. Jim is creator of the Head, Heart, Foot™ Model, which optimizes decision-making and daily operating routines. He is co-creator of Sprint2Market™, a business acceleration and risk reduction protocol for start-ups and new product development. Mr. Danahy is a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors and sits on several industry and community Boards including Hope Air, Canada’s national charity for urgent medical transport. He has advised many Boards and management teams including VHA Homecare Services, PAS-CAN Postpartum Adjustment Services, MedX Health, Community Social Planning Council of Toronto and MedVisit Doctor’s Housecall Service. Danahy has lectured at York and Ryerson Universities, Centennial College and the Board of Funeral Service. Jim is widely quoted in the national business press including the Globe & Mail, has been interviewed on BNN TV and is a columnist for several industry journals including Pharmacy Business, Frontshop and YPM for pharmacies. Mr. Danahy holds a Bachelors degree from Ryerson University.
